Mowed with the 2660..

Now Haywire you know Jeff must have cabin fever!!! He might not see green until next mo. and a new BX2660 setting there. I'll help him out a little. I have mowed 2 time, the high spots. Hang on Jeff well not be long.

I can see green in the back yard today I know it will be awhile before I am cutting though. That will give me weekly quality seat time:thumbsup:

So far I like it a lot. I need to get it into some deep thick grass to see how it handles it. I read some complaints that the deck likes to leave windrows. It didn't today, but it was the first cutting of the year. .......

Last year my BX2660 left mohawks and I would need to make 2 passes to get an even cut. For my first cut this year, I took off the FEL and mowed in high gear, heavy grass and it made a perfect cut! One of those "shoot me I'm stupid" moments. I was just too lazy to take it off last year as I was constantly using it. Even while mowing I would pick up dead branches, rocks, and trash and carry it in the FEL until I got near the burn pile. New land and just getting it into shape so trying to multi task I guess. That's my excuse and I'll stick to it......

BTW, taking the FEL off and putting it back on was easy. Less than 5 minutes.
