Looks like you are getting lots done, and still finding time to have fun. I have never killed more than a handful of chickens at at time, so my God given pluckers is all I've ever used. When I helped my neighbor dress his quail, we slit them open to remove guts. Taking the time to build good pens to work your cattle will save you lots of heart ache in the long run. If you have to use temporary panels, it is a good idea to put them up a few days ahead of time and feed the cows in there a time or two. Those sharp ends of that wire hurt. My BIL stuck himself in the finger working on a chicken pen over the weekend. It looks really nasty. Your rabbit pens may be too small for this, but BIL used bread trays for doors on his square chicken pens.

I think I am going to have to slit the quail open as well. No way my hands will fit in the cavity.

Those weren't my cattle, they were the friend's who I was helping butcher. A lot was learned that afternoon. Getting them used to the change would have been extremely helpful.

I am hoping to get some wire insulation that will slide over the edges and protect from getting cut.

I used some placemats from the dollar store to give the rabbits some shade. Quick and cheap.

The feeder looks good. I have four round bale feeders that I'm no longer using. If you were closer. . . . . .

I have thought about using them to trellis cucumbers or some other viney things.

I'm starting to get produce from the garden. The zucchini and cucumbers are doing well. The tomatoes are almost there. The beans are starting. It's becoming fun.

Looking good. What kind of tomatoes are those yellow ones?

Everything looks good. We picked our first bowl full of beans yesterday and a few tomatoes today, but we have several cucumbers and peppers that are jut about ready. If I keep up with the watering I think it will do pretty good.

It's fun when things start to come together.
