I'm glad the paperwork is coming together. Soon we will be seeing some more progress{I hope}. Larro

I hope so too. Really hoping to get a call today or tomorrow. We have a cement guy ready to go.

Well, I got a call from the building department. They need a copy of my sewage permit(not sure why they don't already have it), our soil erosion waiver, a homeowners affadavit saying we are generaling this ourselves, the tie down information for our house, and our driveway permit. After calling on the erosion waiver they said it had been issued but I had never been notified and it was missing, so I am hoping they can re-issue that tomorrow. The driveway permit could be what slows is down. There was a driveway when we bought the place, but apparently no permit was ever pulled. We are hoping they are happy they got their permit money and say we are good. We have a cent guy ready to go Friday or Monday depending on weather and if we have our permit.

Road commission called. Apparently our application was put on the desk of someone who was on vacation. So what should have been 5-8 business days is going on week four. All for something we already have. Oh well. Hopefully Monday.

Congratulations! I've forgotten how lucky we were -- when we built our house on the farm the only permits we needed were for a water well and septic!

We aren't that lucky.

This was this morning. It was a rainy day. Hoping that I can get over there tomorrow and help out so we can get an inspection on Friday and possibly pour on Saturday. While we are pouring the slab for the double wide we are going to pour approaches at both doors to the barn.
