Moving stumps did some damage.

Not much damage, fortunately. I was pushing some tree stumps and brush with my L5030 and a limb popped up and took out the lower cover in front of the battery compartment under the headlight strip. The metal section of grillwork that is retained with bent over tabs was damaged beyond repair so I tried finding a part number to order a replacement. I was not seeing it on the parts diagram for the hood / bonnet that I received from Messick's. This was an oversight on my part and after a couple exchanges with Messick's my new part is on order. I can't be more pleased with the service I received from the people at Messick's.

bummer I know i've seen a few guys that have modified their Front grill guards and turned them into full on brush guards Ovrszd has a pretty nice on on his m series

Dave, Those are some very nice guards Ovrszd made for his tractor. I am planning to build a brush guard in the near future.
