Has anyone figured a good attachment to lift round bale feeding rings with pallet forks? I've destroyed one ring by just putting the forks under the top bar and lifting.

If you can, what we do is we tip the rings up onto the side and then pick them up in under. this does of course depend on how big the ring is and how well built it is

Thanks, Pro. I hadn't thought of that.

we just carry it on a small loop of chain. They are a bit clumsy to move though if you don't hook em just right. To move it just a short distance tip it up on its side and roll it.

MH,
Thank you. I rolled them around for years with no ill effects. In an effort to stay out of the mud, I thought I could just run the forks into the bays and lift. This approach only bent the heavier ring a little. The ring made with thinner walled tubing just bit the dust a couple of days ago.
