I know my GC2410 isn't the best tool for this job, but, hey I had fun and I saved myself a few hundred bucks in rental charges.

I used a combination of a 48" box blade and the loader which worked out well for the most part.

The dump truck would dump 21 yards of dirt and I would start out by making a ramp to the top of the pile and use the bucket to push the dirt over.

Once I leveled it out enough (10' pile down to a 4 foot pile), the dump truck would backup and dump another load and I would start the cycle all over again.

Took me about 5 hours and next month I have to buy another 5 loads and do it all over again :)

I have to say, for a subcompact, I worked the GC2410 pretty hard and it really begged for more.

Nice to see you having fun while doing something useful.

What ya doing with all that dirt. Instead of buying property, ya must be making it. :D

LOL,
I have a pool in the back of my house, about 5 feet from the far side is 5' embankment and I want to slope it out so that I can get more use out of it. I also need to dig that side of the pool out because the pool wall sank about 2" and is pulling\breaking the stair wall on that side. Then I can raise the wall up and replace the liner.

Yes, the subcompact can really get a lot done and exceed expectations. When it comes to moving earth, it helps to have it loose and free of large rocks!
