Yes, swap sides (right light to left inside etc.) the wires run down the rops legs and plug in to the harness. It is a simple job that takes about a half hour. It will go much quicker if you pull a thin rope through the rops when you pull the wires. You can then use it to pull the other wire back through when you install the "Swapped" light.
Good to know. Had to swap them on the JD like this, too. May be getting a B2301.
However, after seeing a couple videos and see how they are attached, I don't see how you could put them inside the ROPS. They're attached to an L shaped piece welded onto the ROPS. No such L shaped piece inside the ROPS.
Found out you can get new ones for $30. LOTS cheaper than the light assemblies on JD 1 and 2 series.
