got some bx24 BH bolt on teeth. saved 200$+ by drilling 12 holes w/ a mag drill i borrowed from work. went bota because my JD dealer- well i won't go there, just read my location. whole project cost 128$ plus a can o' paint! it took about 2 hrs. to complete, and with the money i saved by not buying a tooth bar, i can justify removing 12 bolts instead of 6 or 4 if i ever want to remove it.

I have thought about doing the same thing. I have also have a subcut. My only concern was snagging one tooth on something. Might that crack or bend the bucket edge. I don't know if I have enough lift capacity to do that.

What happened to your ROPS?

the leading edge of my bucket is 1/2 inch plate steel, maybe even hardened steel judging from how hard it was to drill. loader doesn have enough lift capacity or breakout force to bend that. i mow in an apple orchard- thats what happened to my rops.

Have you used your clevis much? Good place to lift from. Like the location of the receiver and side hooks.
