It should work good. I wish my 7800 had that plate, I had to come off the FEL. No big deal just a little longer hoses and a bear to tee back into the tank. I had looked all over my tactor to find that plate and it came about, there wasn't one. Good luck with your splitter.

Thanks, I have my fingers crossed...:eek:ptimist:

The aux plate is apparently not known to many as most told me I Had to use PB. I'll post a reply once I get it hooked back up after this early snow we are having is cleaned up & I can get back to the trees.

Through my research on this I have decided that my good old MF65 Industrial (which has very strong loader) must have a very good pump and I now plan to add some attachments, mainly to the rear, after I get the diesel engine rebuilt so I can take advantage of that. It is my next project after I finish getting this pup set to do everything. I have to rebuild almost everything on the MF.......it was rough when I got it 15 years ago and has done yeoman job.

Hi, how did you get on with mounting your log splitter etc?
I have a B2410 and have have the same problems as you.
Unfortunately I don't have a user manual, and can't seem to get one as I live in the UK, so I have been researching this hydraulic outlet blind.
Mine also has the rear block, shown below, and I started a post on here last year with no successful outcome.
The main issue I have is finding part numbers for additional parts, as I don't have a manual.
I would be very grateful if you would send me the part number of the small block you purchased.
I am looking to fit two double acting remotes to mine, as I have a cab on my tractor, the levers will be going through the hole in the rear glass already provided.

Here is the item I purchased from my local Kubota dealer (& it had to be ordered, cost about $110US. Sorry the pic isn't better, it is the brochure packed with the parts & all wadded up. If you can't read a number let me know.

Document (1).jpg

It operates perfectly, does not affect the 3 point operation and when you do a full run-out of unit to where it would "deadhead" or overload, it apparently has a pressure valve release & only brings the motor down a slight bit. I do have to use a "loop" when I take the unit off.....this is just a 1' piece that connects the two in/out lines together to complete the circuit when not being used. (the appliance you use has to be a free flow center design so only uses pressure when you push a lever)

I am splitting 18" pinion pine logs of any diameter at an idle speed of abt 1k and there have been few logs that have stopped me via the pressure relief valve.(only a large knot) It is only a 13 ton splitter (made by powerhorse) but works very well as it splits in both directions so is pretty fast, has side racks to hold the partially split piece, and certainly puts no strain on the tractor.

I was also thinking of using my new found hydraulic remote system with a backhoe but looking over the relative size of the backhoe compared to the tractor I decided to save that one for my old MF65 Industrial. Now that I have become a lot more comfortable with hydraulics I can see how to set that up with the existing system on ol' Jake.

So this should work very well with your B2410 as you have this same provision, I can see it on your pic. I know there isn't a lot of room in there but it will fit fine (engineered that way). I used 3/8" hoses/fittings although the adapter is only 1/2" as is tractor. I did this because I also have the bigger tractor & the splitter will use 3/8", you could just as easily use 1/2" hoses/fittings if no other considerations. (the smallest orifice is the limit of the entire system so you are 1/2" by manufacturing design.

I hope you have as much fun as I'm having.:drink:

Thank you for your information here, this will really help me find the parts I need, and the drawing is just what I've been looking for.

I'll probably be fitting mine in January now, but I'll let you know how I get on.

Thanks again.
