Okay, I have a diverter valve mounted on the FEL arm and plumbed-in to the curl lines. Now I'm ready to get new hoses made for the thumb cylinder, and wondering where to put the QDs. There are two 90s on the output ports and I have the QDs mounted on those right now, and am wondering if it makes sense to leave them there, or if there are good reasons to put them up front. I see most people run lines up to the crossbar and mount the QDs there, and have separate shorter hoses on the thumb cylinder. Advantage to having the QDs right on the valve is, with the thumb off the hoses go with it - leaves the tractor nice and neat, and might be easier to keep the QDs clean. Disadvantage that I see is, long floppy hoses to manage when the thumb is disconnected. (If that ever happens...) What else am I not thinking of?
