Wow, that's a good price - with the slip clutch. I have bought several Vevor branded (China) tools lately. All good quality.

Covered it well, fine cut are the only blades that will work on that flail. I have had mine for sale for several months now but every call has been wanting something to use for heavier cutting that it clearly will not do.That mott is a fine cut flail. The longer blades indicate that it uses a pin style blade with 92 stations for 184 blades. The fine cut blades are 4.7" long and 0.087" thick. The standard course cut blades are 3" tall 0.106" thick and mounted on a ring to allow them to swing out of the way. If you try to cut brush with this mower it will most likely bend the blades up.
Ok so knowing I need to replace blades anyways, I can’t just take these all off and put on brush blades? That mott is a fine cut flail. The driveline on my SHD88 was a Bondioli Pavasi series 5, the series 6 that Smokeydog linked should work as it is what I used on my SHD88. I have course cut blades and am not impressed with the brush cutting capabilities, it works great in thick once or twice a year cut grass but woody brush just gets defoliated.
I'd guess that is waaaaaay to much work to do.Ok so knowing I need to replace blades anyways, I can’t just take these all off and put on brush blades?
Correct, the course cut mower only has 36 stations for 72 blade.Ok so knowing I need to replace blades anyways, I can’t just take these all off and put on brush blades?
There are NO brush blades made for this model, grass or soft grassy type weeds only.Ok so knowing I need to replace blades anyways, I can’t just take these all off and put on brush blades?
So where does it stand with like multi floral rose bush? My end game here was to maintain old logging trails at a hunting lease. I’m not cutting down trees or making new trails but its more than just tall grass. Should I kick this one down the road for a rotary brush hog?Even the SHD74 with heavier, thicker blades is rated at 1” . Mulch the heck out of 6’ tall tough fall weeds.
