Motor reversing? Mine sometimes won't start

I have read with interest the thread about stalling a Bota and the engine reversing... This may be one of the answers to one of my questions. Occasionally, I have stalled by L2800 only to discover it won't re-start... Give it a little time and she cranks right up... From what I've read, maybe the engine had begun to reverse.... Questionable but a possibility...
Other times (rare) the thing simply won't start... strong battery power to the switch, etc.... she just won't start....
Saturday I used the tractor all morning without a problem. About noon, I used my compressor to blow dust out of the radiator and air filters. Climbed aboard and "nuttin"... simply refused to start.. engine won't turn over, "nuttin".... Out of frustration I walked away... Sunday morning, I climbed aboard and she started right up without stuttering.
I'm thinking maybe one or the safety switches malfunctioning?
Has anyone else had this problem?

The most probable thing (assuming HST) is that the hst peddle is slightly out of adjustment or has some crud in the linkage keeping it from going back to center. It must be in the center for the engine to crank (turn over).

It's probably not a malfunctioning switch in the sense that the switch is faulty as they will fail and stay failed. But it may be not able to reach the center spot.

The other things to check are the PTO switches. PTO levers must be in N to start. And the clutch peddle switch needs to be made too. I don't know if you have a butt checker or not, but that could be it too.

I had occasional restart problems on my 2005 Kubota B7510HST (that I traded in March 08 for a Mahindra 5525). Every time it happened it was a problem with one of the safety switches not being satisfied (pto, seat, HST pedal).

IRRC, there's some kind of delay switch (possibly thermal) on those small Botas. I remember once I got off the seat with the engine running without tilting the seat forward. The engine quit and would not restart until about a 5 minute delay.
