Motive Force of PT Under Various Conditions

??????? With my PT-425 (Kohler), when I push or pull an immovable object, nothing happens! The tires don't spin, and the engine just slows a small amount but certainly never even approaches a stall! In over 300 hours the engine has never stalled for any reason!! Is this 'normal'? ???????

Either you just aren't pushing hard enough, or your reliefs open before the tires spin. If I have no traction, the tires spin, like pushing against a tree stump in sand. If it gains traction and the tires really grip in there, the engine will stall, like pushing against concrete on concrete. I've only been in that situation a couple times, as I usually back off before that happens.
