In the past I have advocated moth balls and used them myself in a classic car I have in a pole barn. This year I spread them in a corner mice like in a tool shed out back near my cabin. They always build in there and don't really hurt anything but I figured, what the heck.
I was cutting firewood today and burning some brush so I went into the shed for a rake. There is a mouse nest right on top of a pile of moth balls.
I'm wondering if moth balls is an old wives tale of if the balls are EPA approved now and don't work.
