All the more reason for someone in a position of liability to have not only high end umbrella policies but also an LLC...

What 'estate' could a tourist driver have worth going after?

And really, that comment is kind of degrading. I remember a store clerk insulting my mom at a jewelry counter one time because of the way she was dressed and she asked to look at some expensive jewelry and the store clerk questioned her ability to pay for the item. I was about 8 years old. After she had the store manager make the clerk apologize to her, we went home and she made a point of teaching me the don't judge a book by it's cover lesson.

I understand your point, but our entire Tribal Society is based on making such judgments. A good part of our consumer based economy depends on it.

I don't owe anyone a nickle yet somehow a person who owes a lot of money and is in fact a negative financial entity has a more opulent lifestyle and higher status than me. Go figure!

I have friends that are everything from minimum wage earning adults to CEO's of large corporations. They are my friends because, among some of their many redeeming qualities, they don't judge based on appearance. Treat everyone as you'd want to be treated.

Sorry, I don't buy that. That's a huge part of the problem of humanity. This notion of reciprocity. Each individual should stand and be judged on his own merits.

And, if you could define a "friend" that would be of great insight to me. Because, in truth, and I do use the term often in describing aquaintances, but really have a hard time knowing what it means.

Exactly. Sam Walton one of the richest men on the planet, often visited his stores looking just like any other Northwest Arkansas farmer. And seemed to prefer to dress that way, and kept his Northwest Arkansas ways. You never know.

You know that thing in life that you hate doing. A friend is the person you'll do it for because you know they need you to.

What coverage amount is everyone carrying on their umbrella policy?
