On the PTO coupler, try sliding it off the pto shaft and apply a moderate amount of heat, not too much just warm it up good and then reapply WD-40 or Liquid Wrench or other similar product. Hopefully that will free it up.

Yeah, the wife doesn't mind the time "working" on the tractor. It's when I spend a whole Saturday changing oils and waxing her up that she gets a little jealous.

The best part is my neighbor pays me $30 a storm to do his small driveway right next door.

This weekend is supposed to hit 45 degrees F , so I will work on that driveshaft again. Thanks for the advice.
