So I finally broke down and purchased my first tractor and implements... JD5055E, 553 FEL, 48" pallet forks, and 684 Tiller. She has a little time as the local vet was using it to drag their horse ring, but barely enough to even worry about. Still has new factory warranty and financing.

I think it goes well with the M35A2's in the yard

55 hp is a good base line for an all around tractor. I was looking at specs. Could not find who makes the engine. Surprised to see a three cylinder as most in this range are fours. Built in India. Is the E series all by itself or does it use components from the regular series? Looks like good competition for Mahindra and Kiota. I was looking at this series for a second machine.

I've also been looking at the smaller E series tractors for a second machine. I have been thoroughly impressed with them for what they are. I'm looking at it mainly to pull a rake and a few other tasks that are a bit more difficult with the enclosed cab.
