More EBAY Scams!!!

Once again my 2520 pics are being used on ebay as a scam from the UK!!! I have contacted ebay so hopefully they will have it off soon.

The 2520 and attachments are still for sale and I will be accepting offers on the equipment. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

are they not able to do anything to dissuade the perps from attempting to commit this crime? i bet if you got enough people together to impact ebays funds flow they would stop it!

I saw my tractor 2 weeks ago on ebay. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif
In the last week I bet that I've seen a dozen or more tractor scams.
The tell tale sign is when they tell you to contact them directly through their email account, not ebay. Or the "buy it now " price is extremely low.

My opinion: That's the only way you'll ever get E-Bay to do anything. They are all about money and if someone happens to get screwed while they are collecting the their fees.....OH WELL!

The only way to get at Scammers is to hit them in the pocketbook.

Force the listing fee up front plus a customary "refundable" fee. If legit it should not matter to the honest person.

Also, Ebay could automated the ad insertion process by scanning for suspect "please contact via this email instead...". Everyone of those bottomfeeder ads has a secondary email address claiming their Ebay account is hosed.

*** I do not mean to affend any bottomfeeders out there by comparing them to Scammers.
