Thanks, that explains it-- now I know why I had no clue how to pronounce some of those names! (Have a student with the name "Aoife"-- "Ee'-feh".) That language must be something else to hear spoken!

People in Brittany are very proud of their origins. They take every opportunity to mention the Breton name for the province BREIZH and show their flag called GWENN HA DU, meaning white and black. Both appear on the top right hand corner of the licence plate at the back of my tractor. 29 stands for the Finistere district, Land's end.
