Loader Moose Detail

Looks like a pretty young calf to me, that probably got seperated from its mother. They are very vulnerable under those circumstances, and often don't survive the winter on their own. I would be surprised if any exotic illness was the cause of its demise--just not strong and old enough to get by without Mom yet. We get one up here every couple of years, and even though the neighbors feed them, they usually don't make it--still sad, though. Regards, Mike
