Montana 2740 and 3040

Hi Hard,

I would say with the rear tires filled (filled with what?) and delivery (how far?) that that is a good price. I would go with the 2740 over the 3240 and save the bucks. In these two tractors my feeling is that the 2740 will do all the 3240 will do.

I have dozens of the 2740's in the field both commercial and residential and my customers love them.

I'd have to agree. If you like the dealer and the tractor, then I think you are being treated very fairly.

I don't like to talk prices but I'll just say he's not going to retire on that sale.

The important thing is that you like the dealer. I've done warranty work on a tractor that was bought three states from me and I know the guy got a good deal but I can't go look at it for free and I would have if I had made profit on it.

Dealer suport is something that should always be thought of as part of the price.

I just got a 2006 3040 with FEL and Landpride 60" box blade delivered for $15,300 delivered and just love this tractor. It just gets better each day.

I brought the 2740, FEL, rotary cutter, and box blade home this week. I haven't used the rotary cutter yet but moving dirt, gravel and other "stuff" around the 5 acre place is a breeze.
The only drawback is the ROPs, it doesn't fold. I wonder if my wife will let me remove the ROPs.......
