Mole murdering--forget blasting, gas them!

We have a few moles in the yard and there was a post about snakes so I looked up the ones we have here, Diamond back Rattlers, they like moles. We do not have them on our side of the river, south side. There are lots across the river I am going to catch me one and let him take care of things. Word is they will swim back. but hopefully after they fill up on the moles.

There was a post about cotton mouth snakes, so I looked up our local snake the Diamond back rattler. I live on the south side of the river and there are none on our side I am going to go over and catch me a few, when it warms up a bit.
Word is they will swim back to the other side when they want, I will have to wait for the river to go down, and it to warm up, but to get rid of the moles it will be worth it.

We have an old cat that kills moles and brings them up and lays them on the back door mat.
Maybe I could rent her out by the day...ha!

OK, so if I got this right my choices are:
Mustard gas,
a propane explosion,
or a cat.
Or I could just live with the moles......

Well the choice is obvious.....

Cal me a safety Sam but

Day 5, still no sign of mole activity.

We had one "village" with 21 monster mounds, some almost 2 feet across and 9" high, all in an area about 20 X 40 feet. Keith blasted a couple spots in this area and we gassed a couple more. I can live with the mounds in other areas, but I really hope we got the one or "ones" in this area.
