Modifying Cab

I own a New Holland 1920. I have the opportunity to purchase a used Sims hard cab that was on a NH 2120 for ~$1500.

Does anyone know how much modification it would take to make the cab fit my 1920? Or if it痴 even possible. I'm willing to add / remove a little bit as necessary, just worried that I'd end up having to remove so much that I'd be getting into the windows, creating more work than the low price is worth...

Do you know what years the two tractors are? Might help. I have a 2120 with a curtis soft-side cab to see how that attaches, but Sims I imagine is different.

I did call Sims and all they'd tell me is that there is a differance in the dimensions, thus the two cab models. They would not provide specifics. They're trying to sell me a new soft sided cab for my 1920 at ~$3,500...

The 2120 cab is in pieces on a pallet at the local NH dealer. They claim to not know much about it...

My 1920 is a 1994 model.

I would offer them $1000 and modify it to fit your tractor.

If you want it for $1,500, see if they'll let you take it and try to fit it to your tractor. No sawcuts or drilling, just a simple attempt to fit it. If not, return it as was, no transaction. If it fits, or even almost, pay for it then install it. I'd think it's a little bit of a white elephant for the dealer - these things don't get more attractive in storage.
If you need a few measurements from a 2120 to compare to yours let me know. I'm thinking of width across the cowl, between fenders, cowl-to-rops, etc.

I saw a used curtis cab for a Ford 1920 in the New Hampshire Craigslist for $600. Not sure if there are differences between the Ford and NH 1920 models.
