Box Scraper Modified box blade!

Noticed this on my buddies Woods box blade purchased new from the local JD dealer. Looks like the dealer carved some clearance on the upright so the top hook of the QH would engage without hitting the bolts. Appears to have been done with a cutoff wheel on a handheld grinder the touched up with some JD paint.

Certainly isn't the prettiest modification, but it'll work and using a QH is worth having a little grinding done in my opinion. I would have to go back and square it all up so it looked better though. Why didn't he get a frontier box blade?
