Stihl MS361 is a great saw to have.
For Chainsaw I like both Stihl and Shindaiwa.

Here's a vote for Stihl. I've had an Echo and it was a good saw but the Stihl Farm Boss is indeed the boss. I've ran over it as someone else mentioned, had a tree crush it, and perhaps the worst of all, let it set for lengthly periods of time. The Stihl is always ready to get to work when needed. If you live in pine forests in hurricane country, you better have a Stihl. The loggers around here almost all have a Stihl. When your livelihood depends on it, you usually get the best.

I looked at all the specs on the Husky in the Northern catalog, then went to look at them locally. The local guy sold me the 460 at the price Northern wanted for the 455 and I didn't pay shipping. I bought my log splitter from him also. The pump went under warranty, took it in on a Thursday, picked it up Monday. My point being don't always look at price but also look at the service behind it. A lot of these small engine shops won't warranty it if they didn't sell it.

I like the Husky saw better than the Stihl, but that's personal preference. I don't think you can go wrong either way.
