Backhoe Model 7 Backhoe keeps creeping down

Hey. Does anyone have any idea why my backhoe keeps slowly leaving the full upright position? As I use the tractor, every so often I have to reach back and raise it back up. Not a big problem but I would like to fix it. Thanks.

They all do. Most new ones I've seen have a latch or metal retaining piece to secure them in the upright position. My brand new Woods bh-70x did it from the first day I had it. If you don't have a latch and can weld, it would be an easy mod to make, otherwise a welding shop can do it for you if you can float the tractor to them.
