MMM valve to run BX grapple

Looking for a small grapple for my BX23 bucket, nothing heavy. Since I can't find one small enough, I will probably get out the old MillerMatic and build one. Any thoughts on using the MMM valve on the right fender to power the grapple?

I've got a BX23 and I don't have a MMM valve on the fender. What I do have is a lever that controls the TPH and no, you will not be able to use that valve to control a grapple. It is internal to the TPH.

Is there a good place to tap into the hydraulic system to run a small aux. cylinder using a dedicated valve? What powers the hydraulic shoot rotator on some snow blowers? Thanks, Rusty

Rusty, what you probably want is a "rear remote" hydraulic valve on your BX23. Here are a couple of threads that discuss what is involved:
