At the risk of sounding like someone that has NEVER been on a tractor:

just found out the collar on the drive shaft of my Kubota 60" stays back if you push it far enough, making putting the drive shaft on easier, and a lot less stressful.

The things we learn by accident!

I'll have to check my MMM PTO shaft.
It may have this same feature or is this a problem. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Me thinks it is to make installation under the tractor easier, it does click back and when you get it up on the PTO drive, it clicks back to hold.

Yep, my BX2200 mower driveshaft is the same...

Guess you did not have your mower off your BX2200 too much, eh Danny? /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Somehow I discovered what you did the first time I took my mower off...I just assumed it was the way things are...
