2005 Mahindra 6000di
Hello All!
I am new here and relatively new to tractors. We have a 2005 Mahindra 6000di with a ML260 front end loader/bucket. Recently the bucket started to slow when lowering. Raises, curls, and tilts normally but lowering very slowly. I removed the dry rotted rubber boot on the joystick and see the pistons raise and lower, no visible rust. I watched videos online and looked for diagrams and read through some similar threads here unsuccessfully. There does not appear to be a loose connection, obvious leak, or partially disconnected line that I can see. There is some dirt/oil residue or film that has been present but not new or wet in appearance. I hope this description is helpful describing the issue.

I dont have the ability to trailer it to a repair shop so I am hopeful I can figure out a fix. I would welcome any advice.
thanks,
jim

I see hydraulic quick couplers in one of your photos. Often these are the cause of hydraulic difficulties.

Re seat them and see if problem goes away. If it does not, swap the loader arm hoses for the bucket hoses and see if the problem moves.

The couplers can also fail internally and the only fix is replacement.

Thanks, Dave!
I followed your suggestions. Reseating didn’t change anything. Swapping loader arms and bucket hoses brought the problem with it. The hose w the blue seems to have a lot of pressure when disconnecting and connecting and seems to be the same line when pushing the joystick forward to lower the bucket.

unsure if it’s above or below…where I am pointing.

I took off the lower black cap with the 2 screws to learn as I go... i just wiped everything down and learned that the piston up top freely moved up and down without any restriction, so i put everything back together and it seems to be working again only the joystick now sticks instead of springing back to neutral when going up and down with the bucket. I am not sure how the valve works or what I was doing but it seems to be resolved...at the moment.
