2004 Mahindra 4110
I picked up a skidsteer style toolholder from my dealer today for my 4110 with a ML112 loader. Several dimensions are differnet than on my direct mounted bucket. The center distance for the loader arms/cylinders is slightly larger (1/4"). It will be a tight fit, but I think it will go on. The opening for the loader arms/cylinders are wider (1/4"), looks like I will need washers for spacers on the outside of the arms. The old pins will not work either due to the wider loader arm openings. I will need to get pins with 4" between the head and the snap ring slot. Anyone else switch over from direct mount to a toolholder? The unpainted steel in the picture is a weld-on plate for converting my bucket. I bought that online. It fits the toolholder perfect.

I will be attempting to put it on soon. Some of the dimensions were closer than I first thought. I must have been blinded by excitement. I do need longer pins though, and I will begin making them tonight. A dealer that frequently posts here has been helping via email with questions. I have to look tonight at my loader for him. We should be able to tell if I have a current production loader or an older design. He has warned me that a modification will be needed to the stops fro bucket roll if it is an older one. I'll post in a week or so when I'm done. Cost was $550.00 from the dealer for the tool carrier. I bought the adapter plate to weld to the bucket online for $99.00

What year is your tractor?
I recently talked to the Mahindra rep. and he told me that the ML 112 loader has not changed. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Wiam - it is a "DirtWorks" open style plate. I found it at www.qualityweldingservice.com. Shipping was reasonable and I had it in only a couple days.

Ebeacham - Mine is a 2004 tractor. My loader is an ML112e. This is from the email about it:
That is the correct p/n plate to fit current production 10 series loaders. Look at your loader frame where the lift cylinders attach to the arms, does the reinforcement plate there have a rounded top corner or is it a straight cut? the older loader frames with the straight cut took a different skidsteer plate. If you have the older style loader frame you will also need to look at the stops welded to the bottom of the skidsteer plate, they are too short and curl cylinders can be damaged.

I checked mine, there weren't any sharp corners and emailed the dealer back. I also let him know then that the model # on my loader was ML112e. He has since replied that I have the latest loader design.

I spent about an hour making pins from 1" bolts for nothing. I put the plate on today and the original pins fit ok after I pulled in the plates using a large c-clamp. Oh well, It was cheap insurance. If anyone talks to the boys at KMW, tell them they should adjust their welding jig. I still have to modify the bucket, but it is the middle of May and we shouldn't get any more snow. Up untill this year though, I plowed with a four wheeler and within a week of taking the plow off each year we got a large storm. Last year I left the plow on till like June to prevent that late spring snow storm.

mboulais,

How did the quick tach toolholder work out? Did you get the bucket modified? I ordered a new tractor with this and just looked at it and they sent the wrong bucket. I had ordered a quick tach toolholder with bucket and when I went and looked at it the toolholder was sitting on a pallet in the regular bucket! Had to scratch my head there for a minute. The dealer said he would make it right though so that makes me feel better. What do you think of it so far?

Yes, I got it done. It only took me most of a morning to cut off the original mounts with cut off wheels and weld on the new quick attach plate. It's working great. It's as solid as it was before, there's no play in connection to the bucket at all. My dealer has a new Q.A. Bucket at his shop.
