Mitsubishi S650G want race and dies off

This 1965 Mitsubishi compact is keeping its owner stressed out depressed and totally Heart broken. It want run past a idle position even with carb. Kit which may not have worked, was told it has a dead cylinder but over 100 pounds of compression on all four.
could it need a new distributor. can the cam linkage sincronozation need a tune up. just that one cylinder pumps very little oil. It only works with a electric could that be a clue. When it goes a little past a idle it dies off after less than a minute. a new short block may not even solve the problem.
Can anyone give any idea what to check. could the vacum be the problem. Should a cracker jack machanic fix the problem quick. Its sending me bankrupt with ten acres of row crops to begin to broadcast till open furs plant and cultivate. Will everybody respond at once. God Bless us all. Help us God!.

check the distrubutor for rusted weights on the advance mechanism. when you rebuilt the carb did you set the float height correctly? could it have jumped timing? check for a resistor block in the ignition circuit. work on one thing at a time to eliminate items.

the problem we have here could be carburator.timing .electrical etc. from what i gather from your post you have good compression on the four cylinder. question. are you getting good spark on all four cylinders? is the float on the carburator adjusted correctly? is the wires from the distributor good and going to the correct cylinders? is the gas pump working? when you find the answer to these questions your tractor will be running.
