Mitsubishi S4L2 info?

So I'm doing some general service work on a relatives montana R3644, which I think is the same or close to the R3039 LS with the S4L2 Mitsubishi engine

Oil has been changed every 125 hrs, I was cleaning the engine off and noticed a oil filler cap on the injector pump. Cant seem to locate the manual at this time, don't remember seeing anything about changing injector pump oil.. Does anyone know if it has separate oil that needs changing or is this just simply another oil fill point?

Most likely just another fill point.

These engines are used in lots of applications. Some times filling from the top, works better than from the side, and vice versa. It also applies for other engines manufacturers.

On these more recent tractors, only a few the Chinese brands are the only ones that require oil changes on the injection pump that I'm aware of.

It is an oil fill point. The fuel injection pump sits in the crankcase.

Thanks guys! We found the book today too! Some older ford tractors had injector pump oil you had to change, so was worried it might be the case with the Mitsubishi.
Been a great engine so far
