Oil & Fuel Mitsubishi or Satoh ?

Larry, thanx on any info by the way. Where found mine, it was equipped with a belly mower and I opted out of it to make a better deal as I have nothing really at all to cut plus have a rider anyway. I did ask the salesman about later on on a PTO driven 5' brush hog and he said no problem but will have to go a little slower than a bigger tractor but it would handle it easy. We have the good PTO with 2 speeds and CAT 1 3 pt. He mainly said make sure blades stay up to par. As far as you having the book, BIG +++, can you post up about all the fluids, where, how much and type? That would be a big help right off the bat. Thanx in advance. Maybe even start a SPECS Thread just on these as the info is so limited.

Here is what I found in my instruction book Page 1 and 2 are the capacities and are duplicated. Page 3 is the types. And page 4 is the how to on the transmission and hydraulic oils. Hope this helps Ya'll.

Larry. You are the man!!!! Thanx so much for the info as I am sure it will help as I really have nothing,,,lol. Is there an ISBN (?) code on your book as to maybe lead me better in trying to find one to buy? I've seen a couple books is all but makes it hard to believe there is not more out there like every other kind of tractor on the planet. Not disappointed in buying the Satoh, just wish there was more info, oh well. I also read from a forum, maybe this one, where someone was gonna make a sticky and copy the whole book. Then someone chimed in and said its against copyright law. Me and a couple others have found this to be Not True as of 1989. Hint, Hint, just kidding but it would help. Your awesome for your trouble and help. Thanx again for this and any/all you may feel pertinent that we may need to know. Chuck~

Mine is the instruction book and has 62 pages. Of all the listed manuals I think the operator manual at 46 pages may be it. here is another site also.

Awesome and again thanx! Have a different question as I have been searching Google and here. It came with a 6' snow plow blade and has a hydrolic hose. I found where the PO had where it connects on the back in front of the seat. I built the mount for it, have it attached and plugged in the hose and basically I can feel it move a 1/16th of and inch but no up and down. Do I need to bleed that line or ??? I know, another good question,,lol. Another reason I am wanting the books so I don't feel as dumb on this thing.

The line should displace any air during normal operation so bleeding shuold not be needed.
Not familiar with the operation of a snow plow blade, We don't get much of that down here.
Are you refurring to the 3 pt hitch not going up or down? That may be a filter issue or pump which is moounted on the front of the engine

Its not the 3pt, that works as it should. The plow has a single cylinder and a single line and works with the 3pt system. There is an added valve off the front left side of the reservoir area just under the seat, opposite of the main 3pt control. There is a control knob in the middle that you can turn from far left to far right that effects something with the hydros. I have a very basic idea how this works and pretty sure the ram is ok as well as the line. LOL on you getting snow by the way as lived in Georgia and they don't either. Plow will come in handy though to move gravel from in front and am having to wait to get a drag blade,,,,,$$$.

Also, looked at the 4 pages of PDF you sent and can't determine where to check the hydro fluid and when its full? Or if it needs some,,,level. Also appreciate all your time on all this. I can also take a couple pics of what I am talking about if that would help help me better. Just let me know.

I can kinda picture what you are talking about, But still can't help with problem. I do know that the control knob that is in the middle is to control the speed that the 3 pt hitch lowers. See if the attachment helps.

Thanx. That is the lever I was mentioning about. Now it makes sense after reading it. I thought it was an implement control of sorts and its not. More of a control on the lowering/release of fluid. Also, will PM you my cell phone number in case you think of anything else that may help, be pertinent or you need pics as going out to the shop to look/work on this thing. Thanx again Larry as we will be experts before we know it!!!

Finally found out a little more about my tractor than when I started this thread. Bill at Valley was a great help and explained to me that my S650 is a setup that he's only seen once before because it has the KE 130 diesel instead of the gas engine. Either someone replaced the engine with the S630 diesel or maybe they made a few that way but the other one he saw has a completely different number series. My luck to buy a mixture of parts. Bill told me that I could use the S650 manuals for the tractor and S630 manuals for the engine. He has them all available. I'm getting one of each for both models, 6 manuals total. Guess I'm gonna start a heck of a library. Would like to thank everybody for all the responses and info, I feel about 10% less dumber about this tractor than when I started.

I had no idea what that lever did either before... The guy I got my tractor from didn't know that much about it either.
