Buying Advice Mitsubishi MT1401D specifications

I'm looking for a tractor and found a Mitsubishi MT1401D. The seller told me it's a K3B-engine with 18hp but I want to be sure before buying it.

If someone knows the specifications from the tractor and especially the engine (type, power (engine, not PTO), ci ...) it would be great.

According to "tractordata" it was made 1981 to 1983 and is 14hp...
But... Stormer tractors shows is as made 84-85 and is 17 hp....

Go to google and put in "Mitsubishi MT1401D" and you can get all kinds of stuff on it - and other mitz's

Tractordata.com told me the first 2 digits are the engine-power. So the PTO-power should be less.
The problem is that I want to use a flail-mower and do some plowing. 14hp is to little, I think, but 18hp should be enough.

I see you've got a Mitsubishi. Are you satisfied with it? Do you find 'easily' parts for it?

I only recently got my Mitsu, and as usual with used equip it had a few probs. Needed a ign switch, a seat, and the biggie was the front axle seals were leaking BAD! Found the sw and seat quickly, but couldnt find the sizes of the seals. Tore into it and got the numbers off the seals when apart and then quickly found them using google. The real scare was when on re-installing I managed to crack/break the left side cast iron gear case - stupid mistake! I thought I was screwed!

But again, back to google and on the 3rd call to (Front Axle) I lucked out and they had the part. (I was told that part broke pretty easily and were sold as soon as they got one in) Mitsu parts arent nearly as available as say, Yanmar but there are a few, you will just have to do a search. I recall running across one that was listed as in the UK (I think)

My S-470 Buck has a K3 B engine. That is cast on the side of the injection pump.

I bought a Yanmar 2310 (1980-1981). It's got 26hp so I don't have to worry about that issue. The engine is just running fine and fluids and filters are changed. The muffler is completely rusted and need to be replaced.

How is the Yanmar running these days? Need a manual for it?
