I have a 2 whl. drive mit. d2000 and need to replace the left rear axle seal. I found a price of apx. $62.00. Anybody know of less expensive parts for mitsubishi?

Yikes!! Never heard that price for a smaller seal. Your seal has a number on it (probably). I also have a Mitsubishi (D2050) and have bought seals before from a bearing house based off of the number. They had a cross reference for it. It seems like the axle seal I bought was about $6.00.

This seal is 86 mm w & 22 mm thk. with hole in center of 60 mm and dosen't seem to be available in US. Thank you for your reply.

Check again. If you get the number off the old seal you CAN get them in the US. I relaced one 4 or 5 years ago and got it through NAPA. The bearing house was cheaper, but 20 miles further away. Don't have the part number any more, but it only cost $8 or $9.
