Mitsu 2201FD or new Jinma 184?

I just purchased a Mitsu 2201 fd, 25hp, 4cyl. 3point PTO with new Cold Water Loader recently for $8800. Hydrolics didn't work so they gave me a new Jinma 184, 18 hp, 2cyl with same loader. New withrollbar, canopy PS

I need to know if the machines are of equal quality. One reason I bought the Mitsu was for the resale value it holds, $10,000 is a large investment for me. You just don't get something for nothing and I can think of alot better ways to get screwed. Holly /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

The biggest difference in the tractors is the 7 hp. The dealer will make a big difference in the owning of either. You'll need parts and service in the future.

You didn't say what you would be using them for so I don't know if the 7 hp will make a difference to you. I'm sure that some of the other members will have more info on both units.

Don't want to step on anyones toes but, if the Mitsu is in decent shape and they will fix the hydraulic problem. I would go with the Mitsu with out question. Yes the dealer is very important but I would be more concerned about the parts issue down the road. They are cheap i'll give you that but would stick with the Mitsu.

The 184 2 cyl jinma is a good machine but for 8K it is not that good. even with it being a 4 wheel drive. You can buy a 284 (28HP 3 cyl) with a loader for that or less in the jinma line up. I've got a 284 with Fel Backhoe and a few other import impliments. Not sure if the Mitsu was used or what was wrong with it or the brand of loader on either ? Koyker has the better loaders from what I've heard on the CTOA and Other boards including here also great bend has a good loader the jinma loaders are nice too dont get me wrong mine is a jinma inport FEL... Its that I would say the 254/284 is more of a compairitive machine...
