I agree; my DeWalt came with ONE hold-down, and TWO choices of where to put it - BOTH holes are about a foot from the blade, so whaddaya do if you have a 10" piece of stock and need 4 2-1/4" pieces cut? Hoping your fingers don't slip doesn't seem like the best idea to me (altho I've done it occasionally) -
I sorta solved that problem and a couple others, take a look at the pics above - about the ONLY limitation on where I can have either hold-downs or flip stops, is where the blade could hit 'em. I'd guess that those extras get used on the saw maybe 80% or more of the time... Steve
