MiracleTruss buildings -- worth it?

I was reading Field and Stream y'day, and saw these MiracleTruss buildings in there --

-- are they worth it? Are they a gimmick?

I really like that you can do the labor yourself, since I'm looking at a large unit --

A good friend of mine who is a school bus contractor has one of their building's. His has 2 garage bay's on the left, office and breakroom in the middle with a attic over it and a third garage bay on the right that has the interior sided and is used as a wash bay. He is happy with his.

I have had a Miracle Truss building for more than 10 years and like it. I used the wooden girts and purlins for ease of construction and build out. I don't know what size building you are thinking about. I have a 48' x 60' and rented a boom truck to set the frames and it sure made the assembly much easier.

I don't know what the miracle is but I know that there are a lot of 50 to 100 year old buildings in New Orleans built just like that.
