I have noticed a very small leak of hydralic oil from the rear of my tractor. I lose about 1 teaspoon of hydrolic oil in a weeks time and cannot find where it is coming from. I have ordered a "stop leak" product
which is supposed to act a s stop leak in a hydrolic system. I was talking to my local New Holland dealer and he mentioned that I should NOT put any additive in the system as it could plug up various screening and make the problem worse.
Which is a correct action to take as If I have the NH dealer replace the seal it will be VERY expensive. Is that small leakage something to ignore until it gets worse???
Thanks;
