Anyone have any good ideas to keep the turn signal lenses in place? I've used silicone, trimmed the trees and shrubs but I still lose several a year. I'm about ready to take them off.

On 2 of my tractors I made some steel boxes out of 4 inch wide flatbar. The other tractor I bought a pair of trailer light boxes when they came on sale. I have not lost a turn signal in 4 years now. If you look real close at my Avitar you can see one around the signal.

I finally left mine off, we have one horse that kept pulling them off at night. Since I never drive on the highway it's only the horses that see the turn signals anyway. If I needed them I think I'd take the bracket off and tie wrap it on the inside of the ROPS, that would protect it from the trees.

I maintain an orchard for habitat mostly (hobby, not commercial). Both of my tractors cannot hang on to turn signals. I took em off as I got tired of spending the money every year to replace em, only to break em off in August again. My tractors very rarely are on the road, and even then the are open so hand signals work just fine.......

I have now gotten to the point where I just don't put them back on the tractor. no reason to except for looks, and these are working machines, pretty don matter.......

Thanks everyone. I will see if I can make some light boxes, that might be a good diy project, if I can't make that work I'll probably take them off. It's not like it's a highway machine.

Some sort of light box should work. When I built my cab I moved the signal lights from the ROPS to the fromt of the cab. I also installed a mirror on the left side that sort of shielded the turn signal. Over the next few years I lost 3 lenses from the right side, but none from the left side (with the mirror). Two years ago I added a second mirror on the right side, protecting the right turn signal. Since that, I haven't lost any lenses.
