Milk in the cupboard often means a box of breakfast cereal in the frige.

You know you just tossed a perfectly good piece of gum into the trash because you just shoved the wrapper into your mouth!

Yes a mind is a terrible thing to lose...

I once replaced a telephone 50 pair terminal block that had been damaged. 1 pair off so all calls were to the wrong address. It took awhile to figure out what happened. Had to correct with no overtime.

I've left my share of things in the shopping cart too.

I once left a plastic case of sockets on the step bumper of my truck and drove 25 miles to work through stop and go and 60 MPH traffic. An hour after I got to work, one of the other employees walked in with the case and said, "I found this on the bumper of your truck".

I met a guy who never bought a car. He rode his bicycle to everywhere. I walked in his garage and saw several buckets of sockets. When he noticed I was looking at them he told me he found them on the road while bicycling.

I used to have a teacher that told us: "If you are stupid buy a notebook and takes notes. I do too." He was a funny guy.

My grandma was looking for glasses and couldn't find them until I told her grandma you have them on your nose.

It is sort of like putting the cereal in the fridge and the milk in the pantry cupboard.

You had to bring that up...I've done that 3 times.. and here I thought I was a loner. Title of the book would be "MANS DISEASE".

Ever leave your wallet some where? I did, once....

And when I saw it, I saw two words, one describing the other.:D Absentminded however is a sign of genius!
That's why my daughters are always calling me "genius", been wondering about that. I kept telling myself it's because of my creative work and doings.:D

Now that I think about it, the last time one of my daughters called me a genius was when I just about electrocuted myself changing out a four foot, four bulb florescent light in the kitchen. I flipped the switch off and went to work on the light, on a ladder,,,forgot the light was on a three way circuit, I remembered right at the moment I got nailed. My daughter, watching, said, "dad you're a genius".:D I love my kids!

Guess I'm the benefactor of a "Mindless Idiot". While walking my dogs along a country road by my house, found a book filliped open and sitting upside down in the snow bank. Book on tractors 1908-1980, cool find.:) It had to have fallen off a vehicle after all the sleet and snow we just had. Warmed and dried up it is now my current bathroom book;)

Dave

can I have my book back please?

Twice I have found women's wallets in the road. Both cases I found the owners. Both were cuties too and very thankful....sometimes it is a liability to be married;)

And as someone mentioned - in both cases they were placed on car roofs, forgotten and fell off.

One is really bizarre- driving home from work and as I passed a busy on ramp to my right I saw the wallet. Couldn't get over or stop in time, went to the next exit 3 miles away did the loop went back and it was still there! Couldn't believe someone hadn't grabbed it already. Anyway I was sitting on the shoulder looking through it to identify the person when I spotted a car pulled up a hundred feet or so behind me and a lady was looking all around. Yep it was hers, she realized the mistake and was retracing her route. Told me this was the third time she had done this:confused2:

Another time when I was in college I found a star basketball player's wallet in a rest room on campus. When I finally got ahold of him he wanted to know when I was going to bring it to him. Uhhh...NO you can come get it. Amazing how a little bit of fame swells some peoples heads. IIRC he wasn't even thankful...almost made me wish I hadn't bothered....

Another one- driving to work one morning a couple of miles from home I saw a quick flash of reflected light off the side of the road....curious I went back and it was a tape measure. Amazingly it was MY tape measure, I'd apparently left it on my truck a few days before..simply amazing no one else had picked it up!
