I know these tractors were discussed several months ago. I would like anyone to response if they have more recent experiences with them. I have been reseaching compact tractors for about three months now and I have found this forum very valuable.

I have test driven the New Holland TC33D, John Deere 4300, Kubota 3010, the Long Landtrac and the Millennium T390 Avenger. I was sure I wanted the New Holland but every time I test drive another tractor, I always go back to the Millennium T390. To me, there is no comparison. I like everything about this tractor better then the others. The looks, features, size, performance and value always brings me back. It doesn't have Hydro transmission but if really don't want it.

I live in SW Michigan and the dealer here sells alot of them and people seem satisfied. They are distributed by Decker & Co. out of Lansing, Michigan.

I am pretty sure I will buy this tractor but any other imput would be greatly appreciated.

JinmaJay,

The Avenger T390 is made by TYM in South Korea not to be confused with the "Avenger" made by DongFeng in China and imported by China Depot.

siebo,

Does TYM (Millenium Tractors) or Decker have a US website with info? The specs from the Korean site look really good.

How's the pricing?

I really like this line of tractors from Korea... I posted some pictures of them somewhere on this forum this past summer from Empire Farm Days...

I think it was a T431 with Cab and T390... very very impressive looking units and spec's... however I haven't tried any in the "drive and work" style... /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

Looking at some notes from this summer, the T390 is $16,900 comparable to the Kubota L3710... and of course fully loaded with all the hydraulics that are standard {not extra} and finally using the Kubota V1903 Diesel engine...

The smaller tractors use Kubota powerplants and the larger units use John Deere PowerTech engines... if this line gets the right distribution... they should really sell... again very impressive from what little I've seen of them... /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

All of the tractors you are looking at are very good machines. If you keep going back to the T390 that is probably going to be the one you would be most happy with. You know the motor is good.
Good Luck PTRich

Decker & Co., Inc does not have a web site that I am aware of. Their toll free number is 1-800-800-6955. You might want to call them to send you a brochure. I have a spec sheet and brochure from the dealer.

I am also from Michigan and was looking at the Millenium and the Branson. I went with the Branson from the Distributor at Battle Creek as I prefer the Yanmar engine. Out the door a 43hp cost me $12852.00.
