Tilt top to vertical, clamp blade on, sharpen with 4 1/2" paddle-switch grinder. It takes longer to balance a blade than to clean up a little wear & keep a land on the cutting edge.

Admit this is my primary use, but it's not easy for one guy to set a 5' box blade on this particular table to weld on it.

That's how I use the table too - all purpose. I also have a small clamp-on vise that I can slap on the edge of the table as needed.
