Does anyone have a Midwest RB22 rear blade on a BX2200? I think I would like to have the tilt and especially the offset feature, but I wonder if the BX has enough range of motion for the 3 ph to lift it far enough to be useful? If anyone has one - could you measure how far you can lift it?
Thanks.

reviving an old thread.... I was wondering the same thing myself. I just got a BX23 and was thinking about putting a rear blade on it. After looking around the RB22-60 seems like one of the best deals out there - tilt , swivel and offset and it is pretty heavy and a pretty good price. Plus if I buy one thru Kioti ( Midwest apparently makes some implements for Kioti) I can get one in orange to match the tractor. So has anybody used any Midwest implements on a BX series tractor? Is the lift capability of the BX 3pt the biggest problem or will I have a problem getting the arms on - will they spread wide enough?

The RB22-60 sounds similiar to my Woods RB60. The Woods will tilt, swivel and offset. The Woods also has a 15" moldboard, and I can't tilt it on my BX. But I can swivel 360 degrees and offset it.

I think a better choice for the BX is a blade like the Woods RBC60, it has a 12" moldboard and "fits" much better.

Why can't you tilt it? Does the BX 3pt not raise the blade high enough? Did you have any other problems with using the Woods blade on the BX?

If I shorten the top link all the way I can get it pretty high but still not high enough to tilt it. I suppose I could drill new holes in the blade but have never gotten around to it.

It works fine for what I use it for. Light snow and since I don't have a boxblade, I use it to grade the driveway.

I have a Midwest RB22-60 for my bx-22. It's a great blade at a great price. However, I cannot tilt it (one side higher than the other). The first notch puts it at too much of an angle, even with it lifted as high as I can get it. You might be able to save a few bucks and go with the non-tilting version (I think it's an RB20-60).

I ended up buying a Kioti RB22-60 rear blade for my BX23 - I have yet to hook it up to the tractor though. Hope to have the chance to use it next week and will post a report on how it works out. The Kioti RB22-60 is the same blade as the Midwest or the Corriher blade - except that Kioti comes in orange. Plus I found a Kioti dealer in my neck of the woods that had it in stock - I couldn't find anybody near me that carried Midwest so I went with the Kioti.
