Mowing Mid-Mount Mower

Does anyone else have a MMM. After reading my manual I should be able to lock my MMM in the up postion with a lock bar and be able use the 3 pt hitch without the MMM going up/down. The manual says the bar maybe installed "if desired", I take that as if you want to lock the MMM up. The picture diagrams show the bar. Mine did not come with one. Does anyone else have a MMM with the lock bar?

All mowers should have the lock bar. It is standard. I would contact your dealer you bought it from as it sounds like it didn't get installed.
