Unfortunately the telling part is "NTSB, which is investigating the bridge collapse, has told FIU and the Florida Department of Transportation not to release records dated after Feb. 19".

In other words we can't let the truth come out till we can "create" the "truth" that lines up with the proper cover up and scapegoat.

Your cynicism is unjustified. There are two criminal investigations being conducted by federal and local law enforcement. The ban is temporary and will be lifted when the criminal investigations are concluded. The reasons given are:

Would you prefer the investigations to be compromised or completed to the best ability of the law enforcement agencies?
