Need help on mf65 trans oil. I have a 1962 mf65 with multi power transmission. I see the manual calls for 80-90 wt mineral oil. Is the miles gear oil ok or is it not gl1? If that’s even important. The local MF dealer wants $110 for 2.5 gallons vs granger at a bit more than half price. If I’m on the wrong track please pount me to the right one at a decent cost???

Stick with the mineral oil ! I'm not sure what the part no. is but I use NAPA brand on my 1959 M-F 50 ! I'll get back with You later on a part no. there 2 different weights that NAPA sells one is 80w90 & the other one is straight 90w I use the 90w in my 1959 M-F 50 which takes 8 gallons , & comes in 5 gallon containers ! I'll have to check my receipt from last year , But I'm sure the price has gone up since then , I'm sure it's not as expensive at what your looking at  ! & welcome to TBN .

I just did a on line price check for the NAPA mineral oil GL1 90W , & the current price for a 5 gallon container is $139.99 sticker shock! so it has gone up quite a bit! & was showing out of stock .
