OK not sure where to start, I was given a MF 20 tractor backhoe loader. Needs what I would say are small things to be a nice tractor. The biggy that I need the help with is the carb(perkins 3cyl). The carb on the tractor always had to be choked to run. So I thought that I would rebuild it and adjust alittle and good to go. Well Im having trouble finding a rebuild kit. Then while looking I seen my carb is not even listed for this tractor.

OK so what I got. The carb that came on the tractor is a Marble-Schleaber TSX-941s. So is this the right carb and if not could someone point me to the correct model and where or who would have one.

Also I was told that this thing is the same as the 135 ag tractor and a 2135 industrail. Just wondering if that was true.

I see that no one else has responded, so I'll try to help.
I can only offer advice in one area.........If you take the carb apart, and clean it up, it will probably be ok.
Usually they just get 'gunked up' in the bowl, and once that is cleaned you are good to go.
Just be careful on disassembly that you don't ruin the gaskets, but if you do...........go to the nearest NAPA, and get gasket material of the same thickness to make new ones.
If all else fails..........use cereal boxes for carb gaskets, I did that once on a motorcycle.

Sorry so long to reply, and thanks for the help. The tractor runs better after the carb rebuild and adjustments. Still need to choke the carb 75% to keep tractor running. By what Ive been able to find this carb is about twice what this tractor needs. That and the linkages are not hooked up properly. Well this is going to be one of many summer projects that I will slowly plug away at.

Just a suggestion for after you've done all the work to get your tractor running properly. If the tractor will not be used often, treat the gas with a good additive like Startron. The new gas wil;l break down in 30 days. Those old carbs weren't made for ethanol.
