MF1531 vs Kubota 3200

Going to buy my first tractor and have done a month of research, much of it on this wonderful website. I live on higher altitude, rocky land. Main reason for tractor is to brush hog and hopefully finish mowing on tamed pasture. Will also be hauling stuff. Found a lightly used, one year old, 80 hr MF 1531, with new loader for $14,500. Looks like a good deal. Would like your opinion on this vs Kubota 3200. It's a $4000 difference between the used MF and a new Kubota (I can't find any used.) I'm concerned about ground clearance. The MF has only about 10-11 in vs Kubota 14.6. The MF has a little more HP (33 vs 32; PTO 24.5 vs 23), has more lifting capacity, and is a heavier machine. The MF guys will be bringing it to me so I can play with it for a few days to see if the 10 in ground clearance will be a problem. Does Kubota do this too? Thanks!

The bringing it to you to try out is totally up to the local dealer. Is MF 4 wheel drive, if not then your not comparing same machines. Believe you need to contact Barlows concerning price if your being quoted $4000 difference between MF and Kubota at $14000. Also between new and used is a premium. I know you can have a used Kubota delivered to you so if your comparing then compare new to new and used to used.
