Mf135 fuel tank

Any tips on getting the front of the tank back on the bolts on each side of the thermostat housing?

Any tips on getting the front of the tank back on the bolts on each side of the thermostat housing?

Lotsa luck. I fiddled around for 2 days trying to get those bolts back in on my 1964 MF135 diesel. I finally punted and just strapped the tank to the support just to get the tractor back in the field. A really crappy design.



I'll get it done one of these days, but that job is way down on the list.
